The Second Artists’ ‘Floating,Flying’ Xchange Series Launches - October 10th, 2019

Floating, Flying is the second project from The Artists Xchange, a collaborative initiative bringing together three artists from Karamoja, Turkana, and Nairobi. Focused on the Ateker region, the project engages with areas rich in natural resources yet shaped by uneven development and strained state relations. It also highlights the region’s striking landscapes, from Lake Turkana to the mountains of Karamoja. Supported by the British Council’s East Africa Arts nAnA program, Floating, Flying situates cultural expression within broader social and environmental change.
