The Inaugural Nomadic Arts Festival Set to Take Place This December - October 1st, 2024

6 JUN. 2026

Going down on the 6th of December at the Oshwal Center, the first ever Nomadic Arts Festival promises to be a vibrant showcase of Northern Kenya talent. According to the organizers, attendees can expect high-energy performances from Turkana Sessions and the Turkana Sessions Orchestra, alongside a select group of artists from Turkana and Nairobi. The festival promises a vibrant fusion of sounds and styles, as these acts come together to create a captivating live experience. Building on the momentum of Turkana Sessions, a project conceptualized by Content House Kenya that united Turkana artists with Nairobi-based musician Eddie Grey, the event continues a journey of exploring and celebrating the region’s musical heritage. Looking ahead, Nomadic Arts Festival is envisioned as a recurring platform that will expand to include artists from across Northern Kenya.
