Inaugural Nomadic Arts Festival will be at Oshwal Centre on December 6 - October 2nd, 2024

The Nomadic Arts Festival brings together talent from Northern Kenya and artists from Nairobi in a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and collaboration. Attendees can look forward to electrifying performances where traditional rhythms merge with contemporary sounds, led by Turkana Sessions and the Turkana Sessions Orchestra. Building on the success of the Turkana Artists Xchange project, the Nomadic Arts Festival expands this vision by creating a dynamic platform for Northern Kenyan artists to share their work with new audiences in Nairobi. Outside of the performances, this year’s edition will also feature a curated marketplace designed to support local artisans and small businesses while showcasing the cultural richness of Northern Kenya. Envisioned as an annual gathering, the festival will continue to grow by welcoming artists from across Northern Kenya in collaboration with creatives from Nairobi and beyond.
