Fashion photographer Stephen Okoth is recognized for his vibrant, colourful style reflected in both his work and personal expression. He began his photography journey in 2016 in Kibera after studying cinematography, initially capturing friends before developing a distinct visual voice. Inspired by photographers like Mario Testino and Bruce Weber, he is largely self-taught and later won an award at the Bokeh South African International Lifestyle and Fashion Film Festival. Through his participation in the Artist Xchange project in Turkana, he continues to challenge stereotypes and highlight the region’s cultural influence and emerging fashion talent.
